Center of Excellent (CoE)

The Center of Excellence (CoE) is a design that is focused on training the hard skills and soft skills possessed by students of the Animal Science Department (Prodi) and is expected to become a competitive advantage as additional capital to compete in the world of global competition.

The Animal Science Department has received AUN-QA recognition, making it a big step to enter and compete on the international stage. The graduate profile is an achievement target that must be met by the Animal Science Department by following the University's tagline which is the basis for the steps taken with "UMM Pasti".

Through this program we can provide the best human resources to enter the world of work, the general public both nationally and internationally, as well as the nation and state. So that the Animal Science Department must be able to become an Agent of Change by establishing a superior class called a Superior Class which is held for 2 semesters (semesters 6 and 7) or is called a Center of Excellence (CoE).

There are two Center of Excellence (CoE) classes from the Animal Science Department, namely the Poultry Professional Class (KPU) and the Ruminant Professional Class (KPR). All Animal Science Department students can choose according to their passion in semester 5, and then this professional class will be held in semesters 6 and 7. In semester 6, 80% of the course taught will be delivered by partners from the Business and Industrial (DUDI) located at partner locations and/or the UMM campus. Furthermore, in semester 7 students will study directly at partner locations (field) for one semester (6 months) accompanied by partners in full.
